Raston Group was engaged through graphite projects to complete the fitout of Level 18 and half of Level 16 in an 8 week program. This was an extremely tight time frame as it was a complete fitout of all new power circuits which included multiple floor boxes, all new c-bus lighting control with feature lights, Installation of New Submains from Level 5 Main switchroom to level 16 & Level 18, Removal and strip out of old switchboards & Installation of Two split chassis Distribution Boards complete with CT Metering, new krone cat 6A data cabling plus fibre optic ties between floors. Part of the Scope also included the relocation of 120 data cables from the Level 17 communication room to the new Level 16 Communications Room. The complete fitout also needed to be completed while the university was live with lectures and classes not being affected on level 17 and the remaining space of 16. This was all completed successfully while adhering to the University of Sydney CIS Electrical Standard.
