Project Details
The Rosehill Gardens Racecourse Refurbishment project involves the refurbishment of the JR Fleming Stand with the key objective of improving the race day experience.
Raston Group was engaged by Taylor Construction on a Design and Construct contract and once appointed worked with the client to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Raston Group worked closely with the lighting Consultants and project team to install and deliver a Phillips Dynalite Lighting Control System. There were over 4000 new lights installed in the project compromising of Dali, Leading Edge, Trailing Edge and Non-Dim Fittings. Raston Group also provided all new Cat 6 Panduit Data Cabling for all telecommunication outlets which included all new data For Bars, TABs, TV and video wall displays. All new OM3 Multimode and Single Mode Fibres were installed and terminated to various Communication Rooms around the Site.
The site remained operational throughout the construction period and construction needed to be carefully managed to avoid and work with the event calendar. The existing audio visual, RF and IP systems also needed to remain fully operational throughout the construction with the existing system being run in parallel with the new systems until practical completion of the entire project.
